How to install Corona Renderer 7 on a new M1 Mac?
If you're the owner of one of the new Apple M1 computers and you love using Corona on your Mac, you might want to take advantage of the M1's new architecture and power.
With that being said, Corona is being ported to natively work on these new computers, and the new M1 architecture will be fully supported starting from Corona 8. However, if you have already installed Corona 7, you'll probably notice it is not listed as an available renderer in C4D render settings window.
If this is your case, then, please download and install our latest Daily Build which includes support for the new M1 chipset.
You can download it here.
Note: Don't forget to read the rules of using Daily Builds.
Although it is not required, you can optionally do a fresh install of the latest Daily Build by first removing the previous version of Corona Renderer installed on your computer.
